Dynamo Centers of Excellence - Fall Dates

The Centers of Excellence, presented by StatoilHydro, are designed for boys and girls aged 8-10 and all competitive players from 11-14. These advanced training programs provide a carefully structured curriculum based on Dynamo Academy's activities that focus on athleticism and the technical aspects of soccer.
Teamed with Plex Sports Performance, each session is open to 48 players and is designed to supplement current training received by players by introducing scientifically proven methods to improve speed, power and agility.
Each Center of Excellence runs for eight weeks, features 16 total sessions and provides a 12:1 player to coach ratio for maximum performance. The Dynamo's Center of Excellence provides the fastest way to be selected for the Dynamo's Junior Academy. In Spring 2008, 30 players from the Centers of Excellence were invited to join the Dynamo Academy system.

The combination of technical soccer sessions for eight consecutive weeks along with eight sports performance sessions at Plex will accelerate each player’s development. The field sessions will take place each week for eight weeks at the location you selected. The eight performance sessions at Plex will be scheduled by you around your availability. You will need to contact Plex to schedule your
sessions (for a complete fall session schedule.)
Each COE player will be able to sign up for the Plex performance program and schedule their eight sessions during the duration of the Fall COE program at their convenience. Visit Plex online or call 281/499-PLEX. There are three Plex locations available, Stafford, Pearland and Willowbrook.

Centers of Excellence will include the following:
- Players will be selected to the Junior Academy

- The top players from the Centers of excellence will be invited to a special tryout with the Dynamo Academy
- Players from the Centers of Excellence will be invited to play in a Dynamo All-Star event
Cost per player is $279.
Dynamo Junior Academy 2008
Centers of Excellence are tryouts for the Dynamo Junior Academy that began in early 2008. In their first year, 30 players have already been invited to join the Dynamo Junior Academy
Elite youth players with ambitions of becoming professionals will now have a structured system for which they can develop and be discovered.
The new Dynamo Junior Academy will be structured just like the extremely successful Dynamo Academy.
Players will receive training one night per week while still playing and training with their club team. Successful players will have the opportunity to progress directly into the Dynamo Academy.
