Donation Guidelines

PLACING A REQUEST

The following donation request procedure has been implemented by the Houston Dynamo as to be consistent and fair to all organizations that make donation requests. Due to the large inquiries that we receive on a daily basis, we are faced with the unfortunate task of properly allocating our resources. We would like and strive to fulfill all requests; however, due to time and other constraints we give priority to organizations located in the Houston area. Kindly, we ask that organizations only make one request per calendar year.

APPLICATION

All donation requests must be submitted in writing to Dynamo offices at least 4 weeks in advance of the fundraising event. If a publication deadline exists, please submit your request accordingly so that the Dynamo will be able to process this request with regards to appropriate deadlines.

Written requests must be submitted on organizational letterhead and include the following details for a request to be processed:

1. Organization's name, non-profit tax ID number and full address
2. Contact name
3. Telephone number
4. Address to which to send the donation response
5. Name and Nature of event/fundraiser
6. Day, Date and time of the event
7. Event location
8. Number of attendees and beneficiaries of funds/donations
9. Publication deadline/item "need by" date (if applicable)

PROCESSING PROCEDURES

Houston Dynamo will follow up in writing to all requests received. Please allow at least 2 weeks for processing. All decisions regarding donations made by Houston Dynamo are final. Donations items will be mailed out according to the dates of the events and/or dates by which the items are needed.
