Chivas back-up 'keeper keen to learnAt 6-foot-4 and 195 pounds, Lance Parker is an imposing presence in net. This past week, the Oklahoma City native saw his first minutes of the 2009 season in two games for Chivas USA.
Chivas get unlucky against Charleston Chivas USA did everything right. They dominated the time of possession, they controlled the run of play, they got twice as many scoring chances Tuesday night in their third round U.S. Open Cup match against USL First Division side Charleston Battery.
Chivas eliminated from US Open Cup For the third consecutive year, Chivas USA were eliminated by lower-division competition in the U.S. Open Cup. Wednesday night at Blackbaud Stadium, it was the USL First Division Charleston Battery that did the honors, once again knocking off an MLS opponent for a 3-1 victory.
