Kansas City enters its final 10-game push toward the 2008 MLS Cup Playoffs Saturday at 7 p.m. CT against FC Dallas at CommunityAmerica Ballpark. The Wizards are 0-0-1 against Dallas this season after capturing a 1-1 tie July 4 at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas.
On a wet night against the Colorado Rapids, the Kansas City Wizards saw their season sink further into the mud. Stuck in a four-way tie for last place in the Eastern Conference standings, the Wizards could not make headway against the defensive strategy the Rapids employed, losing 2-1 on the road.
Hoping to build momentum and clear themselves from the logjam at the bottom of the Eastern Conference, the Kansas City Wizards instead fell flat, losing 2-1 to the Colorado Rapids.
