A tremendous shot-stopper, Warren displays very quick reflexes to produce highlight-reel caliber saves and has worked hard to improve his form under current Revs goalkeeper coach Gwynne Williams - who also worked with Warren as a youth national team player ... provides a very capable backup option to Matt Reis displays a tireless mentality whether competing for the first team or the reserves Warren played collegiate soccer at Clemson and Indiana ... began his MLS career with D.C. United in 2003 and 2004 ... was a longtime member of the U.S. youth international programs.
MLS Experience
2007: Did not see any first-team action this season, but was 4-1-2 for the Revolution reserves with a 1.00 goals against average. Posted two shutouts: 1-0 against the Chicago reserves on May 6 and 3-0 against the Kansas City reserves on May 27. Played 45 minutes to help post a clean sheet with Brad Knighton against New York on Sept. 22. Made eight saves at the Chicago reserves on Oct. 7.2006: Did not see any first team action, but was the Revolution reserve squad's starting keeper. Started eight games for the reserves, posting one shutout - a 0-0 draw against Chivas USA on May 14 - while combining with T.J. Tomasso for a 0-0 draw against the Chicago Fire Reserves on Aug. 21. Made a season-high 13 saves against the Kansas City Reserves on Sept. 23.
2005: Traded to the Revolution from D.C. on Jan. 20 in exchange for the Revs' natural fourth-round selection in the 2006 MLS SuperDraft. Made his first-team debut for the Revs on Aug. 17 at Colorado, immediately facing a penalty kick after Matt Reis had been sent off for a foul on the Rapids' Fabrice Noel. Jean Philipe Peguero scored against Warren on the spot kick. Warren started his first match as a Rev on Aug. 27 vs. D.C. United, earning his first-ever MLS victory, recording four saves against his former club. Posted 4-3-3 record for Revolution Reserves with a 1.67 GAA and one shutout.
2004: : Started one game for D.C. United - a 3-2 loss at the MetroStars on April 17 - before joining New England on July 10 from the MLS emergency goalkeeper pool after Revs goalkeeper Adin Brown was injured. He backed up Reis for the remainder of the season without making any appearances for the Revs.
2003: Drafted by D.C. in the second round (14th overall) in the 2003 MLS SuperDraft. Warren appeared in six games for D.C., starting five of those. He posted a record of 0-3-2 with a 1.34 goals against average. In the 2003 MLS Cup Playoffs, Warren started two matches against Columbus - both losses - and made eight saves, allowing four goals.
College
Spent one season at Indiana - where he played with current Revs teammate Pat Noonan during its 1999 National Championship season - before transferring to Clemson to start his sophomore season was a three-time All-ACC performer for the Tigers, and earned first-team All-America honors as a senior in 2002 started all 20 of the Tigers games as a sophomore, posting a 1.19 goals against average and four shutouts with 77 saves started 22 games in his junior season, recording eight shutouts, an 0.80 goals against average, 76 saves and a .809 save percentage had a 1.31 GAA as a senior on his way to All-America honors, while making a career-best 108 saves finished his career with 261 saves, fourth on the all-time Clemson career list in his one season at Indiana, appeared in nine games, starting eight, while playing 713 minutes and allowing only five goals... had a record of 7-1-0 with a goals against average of 0.63 and recorded four shutouts for the Hoosiers, making 15 saves with a season-high five saves at Brown.
International
Primarily served as the U.S. Under-23 Team's back-up goalkeeper in 2003-04 started in goal in all three of the team's exhibitions in 2004 appeared in two matches in 2003, posting two shutouts, including a 4-0 decision over St. Kitts & Nevis in the second game of the second round of CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying appeared in four matches in 2002, including three victories against English reserve teams on a tour in August was on the U.S. Under-20 squad that competed in the FIFA World Youth Championships in Argentina in 2001.

Is the son of Chris and Sue Warren has one brother, Tom was a Parade All-America at Palatine High School, as well as Illinois' player of the year as a senior in high school ... named by Soccer America as one of the nation's top 25 high school recruits ... played club soccer for the Chicago Magic Soccer for six years and won state titles four times and placed third at nationals ... majored in economics at Clemson.
