Larentowicz has established himself as one of the league's premier up-and-coming talents in the midfield … earned the starting role midway through the 2006 season and, together with Shalrie Joseph, forms the league's top central midfield, playfully nicknamed, "Red and Dread" ... has developed his game every season since entering the league, becoming more well-rounded and joining into the attack more … has established new single-season bests for goals in each of the last two years … does not shy away from physical play … a good communicator, a tough tackler and a strong presence in the aerial game .... enjoys joining into the attack, an area which he has worked to develop in the last year.

2008: Started 28 regular-season games, playing both as a defensive midfielder and a central defender. Scored four goals - marking a new single-season high - and added two assists. All four of his goals were from outside the 18-yard box. Overall, made 36 appearances - all starts - including regular season, SuperLiga, Champions League and playoff games. Served a one-game suspension against Kansas City (April 9) after being shown a straight red card in the seventh minute against Chicago (April 3). Scored the Revs' lone goal in the 1-1 draw at New York (April 19), a 20-yard free kick around an eight-man wall as the Revs played with 10 men. Missed the Dallas game (April 24) with a sprained right ankle. Registered his first assist since July 29, 2007, in the 2-1 win at Chivas USA (May 11). Played two regular-season games as a central defender (vs. Chicago on Aug. 9 and at San Jose on Aug. 16). Returned to the defensive midfield against D.C. (Aug. 20), and scored a 25-yard, game-winning goal. Scored a 22-yard goal against Chivas USA (Sept. 11) and snapped Kansas City's shutout effort on Oct. 25 with a 30-yard goal in the 90th minute with the Revs playing with nine men. Made four starts in SuperLiga. Played defensive midfield against Santos (July 13) and Chivas USA (July 20), and in the center of a four-man backline in the semifinal against Atlante (July 30) and the final against Houston (Aug. 5). Missed the Pachuca match (July 16) with a left quad contusion. The match against Atlante marked his first start as a defender for the Revs' first team. Scored the Revs' fourth penalty kick in the 6-5 shootout victory in the final. Started both matches against Joe Public FC in the CONCACAF Champions League (Aug. 26, Sept. 2). Also made one appearance with the reserves - at Chicago (April 4) - before suffering a right ankle injury. Started both of the Revs' playoff matches against Chicago.

2007: Started 28 games in the defensive midfield, missing two with a right eye injury. Scored three goals and added four assists. Had a career day against Chicago on May 6, scoring a goal off a corner and later assisting on Steve Ralston's game-winning goal in the second half for his first-career multiple point game. After recording an assist on Pat Noonan's goal, left at halftime of the Revs' game against Toronto on June 23 after suffering a right eye injury - marking the first minutes he wasn't on the field in the season. Missed both Chivas USA games on June 30 (away) and July 7 (home) with the eye injury, but returned to play 90 minutes at New York on July 14. Garnered international media attention, especially in Great Britain, for the protective eyewear he used while his eye continued to recover. Scored the game-winning goal at RSL on July 29 on a powerful free kick from 24 yards, after assisting on Pat Noonan's goal to open the scoring. Netted the game-tying goal - a low diving header - in first-half stoppage time against the Carolina RailHawks in the U.S. Open Cup semifinal on Sept. 4. Scored New England's only goal at Chicago on Oct. 6. Started all four of the Revs' postseason games.

2006: Established himself as a presence in the midfield after earning a spot in the lineup because of injuries and international call-ups. Made his first appearance of 2006 on May 6 against Los Angeles and appeared in each of the next 15 games and 26 of the next 28 games, starting 19 total matches. Also appeared in all four postseason games, starting two in the midfield. Recorded his first-career MLS goal on Aug. 27, netting the game-winning goal against Columbus at Gillette Stadium. Assisted on Andy Dorman's game-tying goal in the Revs' improbable 3-3 draw at Chicago on June 11, helping to cap the Revs' two-goal comeback during stoppage time. Against USL-1 side Rochester Raging Rhinos in the fourth round of the U.S. Open Cup, scored the game-winning penalty kick after a 0-0 game through two extra-time sessions, sending the Revs through to the quarterfinals against the Chicago Fire.

2005: Made his MLS debut on May 14 at D.C., entering the match in the 89th minute. Played in and started 11 Reserve Division matches for the Revs while captaining the squad; his 890 minutes were second on the Revs' reserve squad.

COLLEGE: In 66 collegiate appearances, the central defender scored seven goals and six assists … helped Brown capture two Ivy League Championships … a two-time second-team NSCAA All-America selection and a four-time All-Ivy performer at Brown.

PERSONAL: Son of Ron and Margie Larentowicz ... has one older sister, Laura ... trained with Malmo FF of Allsvenskan, the premier league in Sweden, during the summer between his junior and senior years at Brown, and with Ipswich Town of England's second division in the off-season after the 2005 MLS season … also a fan of indoor soccer, follows his hometown Philadelphia Kixx … majored in Public Policy and American Institutions at Brown ... a graduate of Chestnut Hill Academy in Philadelphia, where he lettered in soccer, basketball, and golf ... won back-to-back national championships with FC Delco Arsenal in 2002 and 2003 and returns to the club to help coach during the Revs' off-season … his favorite place to travel to is Sweden ... is an avid golfer.
